The improvement of the observing targets and the deterioration of the work environment of radar system put forward more and higher requirements for signal process of radar system. In early days, radar signal was processed by analog procedure. But analog procedure is inflexible and unstable for some reason. Digital signal process possesses flexibility because parameters can be modified to meet different requirement. Furthermore, digital signal process is stable because of the excellence of logic circuits.In this paper, a digital signal process hardware platform based on CPCI bus is developed for some radar system. The author proposed a rate compensative Alg and implemented it on the TMS32C67601 DSP platform.At first, radar signal process and digital signal process are introduced briefly. Then a digital signal process hardware platform is developed and the construction is discussed in detail. The memory expansion and the protocol of CPCI bus are discussed too. In this paper, the Code Composer Studio (CCS) for TI's DSP is referred to. In chapter 3, the FFT theory is discussed and a new compensative Alg for range profile is proposed and some simulation results are given.The general work of this paper is summarized and the further research direction is pointed out at last.
