An Information Transfer System Based On IP And IP Detection

Low-level computer network protocols and their advanced characters are used to overcome the shortcomings of the current information system. The new information system retains the advantages of the old system, and provides new services to the users. In this paper, three aspects are specifically discussed. In the first part, Multicast technology is incorporated to improve the quality of messages transferring between users of the information system. The information flow including short messages and sound signals are successfully transferred. Secondly, a mini mail server is constructed. It works as an assistant of main mail server to send email in the Internet and Intranet. It also provides a function to send short messages. An IP-Detection software is realized by using interface of Microsoft Windows NDIS in the last part. The packets transferring in the net can be detected and captured by the software, which helps network administrator for trouble shooting and security purpose.
