The DSP-ADPCM voice encoder is a new product of the Institute of Image and Graphics of Sichuan University, which is used for collecting and playing voices. In the first chapter, the author makes an introduction to the basic theory of the DSP-ADPCM card and describes its work characteristics and hardware structure detailedly.In the second chapter, the author illustrates the characteristics of driver develop kit WDM,and designs the drivers of DSP-ADPCM card in WDM from several key drivers technology. The author also discusses the important technology of drivers and provides new method. At last he analyzes the stability and real-time of drivers in Windows 2000.In the third chapter, the author provides the general design structure for the encapsulation of drivers, and he makes comprehensive test for the stability and real-time of drivers from three parts :full load of voices data,long time running of driver,the different voices data. The drivers of DSP-ADPCM card and its applications have applied to lots of airfields, and show excellent performance and fine software design.
