In the process of aluminum reduction, the circulating flow of liquid in aluminum reduction cell, fluctuation of liquid aluminum, draining of anode gas and generating of anode effect, all of which generate special sounds. Detecting and analyzing these special sounds may know working conditions of aluminum reduction cell.DSP is programmable and has very quick calculating capability, so it is very fit for conversion of sound signals. In this paper, a circuit diagram is designed, and PCB in correspondence with the circuit diagram is made. TMS320VC5402 DSP of TI Company works as CPU in the circuit system. The system is mainly composed of five modules: coding circuit module, data collecting module, data storage module, data uploading module and alarm circuit module, coding circuit module is used for address coding of data memory, program memory and I/O port, besides, coding circuit module is used to control reading and writing of program and selection of chips. In order to realize systematical functions and make good use of DSP chip resources, the system uses McBSP integrated internal DSP to receive data collected from data collecting module. In addition, system uses TL16C550 chip that completes the conversion between serial data and parallel data to realize serial data communication between DSP and PC.After circuit diagram is designed and hardware PCB is made, driving programs, CMD file and interrupt vector program are programmed in the paper. These programs are programmed with C program and compile program. After being debugged, the system can collect and store sound signals, moreover, can also upload data and give out alarm. Finally, the suggestions that need to be modified are given in the paper.
