Following with the development of garment industry, more and more interests are focused on the research of eMTM, which is not only for the improvement of the living standard of people but for the rapid development of three dimension measurement technologies especially the untouched three dimension scanner that provides a strong support to eMTM. The establishment of Anthropometric Database is the key point in the realization of electric Made To Measure (eMTM). Traditionally, people always use manual method to collect anthropometric data and take them as the main part of the traditional Anthropometric Database, so the database is completely manual-data-oriented and the storage of database is made up of two dimension measurements. With the untouched three dimension scanner, the storage of anthropometric database is not only be limited to the two dimension measurements but becoming multi-information including human's three dimension information etc. Now the researchers try to conduct a research on the eMTM system through the following method: using the untouched three dimension scanner as the main data collection devices and all research surrounding the three dimension anthropometric database. In collusion, the research on three dimension anthropometric database is a very important factor in solving how to store manage and use the data that eMTM needs effectively.In this paper, using the untouched 3D body scanner and based on other theories such as theories relevant to Object-Relational Database (ORDB), we conduct a research on the three dimension anthropometric database which suits for the application of eMTM and also some other research works of WEB application system based on the database. So the main work of this paper includes.Analyzing the structure of body data especially VRML file and then put forward the "Body Representation Model" as the basic logical model of integrated data analysis. Setting up the object model of database with UML based on the "Body Representation Model". Through exploring the mapping theory of UML model toORDB, the logical model of Object-Relational Anthropometric Database is finished and the physical realization is completed. Especially aiming at the features of the 3D anthropometric data, more emphasis is focus on the research of designing and realizing the storage mode of large object (LOB) in the Object-Relational Anthropometric Database. During the design and realization of WEB application system based on the Anthropometric Database, putting forward combining Matlab and Web, namely, the function of three dimension image of Matlab and friendly function of GUI of Web, then the three-dimension Online Modeling Module which enriches the content and form of information querying module is designed and realized. Some results are given and good performance of the module is shown. Additionally, the data collection interface based on Web is also designed and realized including the module that uploads and downloads large scanned files using COM technology.Anthropometric database based on the 3D scanner has already applied to many other fields such as spaceflight, medical treatment and census, but its application in garment industry especially at home is just at the beginning. So to some extent the work of this paper has some innovational significance in theory and also has considerable values in practice.
