With rapid development of the Internet, business applications request more and more availability of the network services, as while the research on the high availability (HA) becomes hotter day by day. By watching how all node machines running, the HA system adjusts and configures the whole system, and then it will transfer the compute tasks and services among node machines in the cluster to make load balance. Most of the existing HA system designs only emphasize the usability of the system but ignore the capability of the whole system as a machine. The leading thought of this paper is to combine the Linux virtual server model and HA system to design a HA system model with the Linux virtual severs as the core of the whole system, so as to improve both the capability and the usability of the existing systems. The paper analyzes the characters of the HA technology, cleans up the basic structure arrangement of the HA system, and gives the brief introduction of several important roles in the existing model. Later, this paper describes the intension and extension of the LVS technology and constitutes the corresponding connection between the LVS frame and main operating of the HA system. And basing on the analysis, the paper designs the Linux High Availability Network System (LHANS). After describing the main modules of the blueprint, the paper gives the implementation to the network services metastasis such as the management of the application layer.Base on the theoretic analysis and model design, combing the existing network system, this paper design an ameliorated blueprint which uses two-machines-cluster as virtual server according the LHANS model. At the end, the paper contrasts the design with the existing application on the usability and evaluates the resume capability facing the mischance and failure.
