For this reason we bring up our subject "Design the Platform of Network Attacking and Defense under Linux" and wish to imitate the actual process and result of network attack and defensive through constructing a dummy platform. Finally it is given to user as a expansive tool for teaching and development.At first we introduce the present situation of network safety and typical methods of attack and defensive simply then we present the requirement and essentials design of system and introduce every function module in detail. The firewall is one of the most important components of the platform. Upon the analysis of the present firewall's technology we bring forward its development's process and implement its primary function and some assistant functions. Ultimately we give the process of system's operation and analyze the result of emulate bya test example.
