With the development of satellite communication, space science and national defence causes, the demand for large diameter and high precision mesh deployable antenna is more and more exigent. So large space mesh deployable antenna reflector adjustment and control techniques become a pop theme, to which many space corporations and research organizations all over the world pay more attentions.Aiming at this theme, new method and theory innovation are researched, which is from applying piezoelectric intelligent structure to large space deployable antenna reflector precision adjustment. Constructing the drive displacement model for piezoelectric bimorphs, realizing the piezoelectric elements structure analysis by using ANSYS software and finishing the FEA of symmetrical & nonsymmetrical piezoelectric intelligent beams and the optimization of controlled voltages for static distortion, furthermore, summarizing the analytic results. Constructing the FEA model, which includes piezoelectric intelligent structure, and giving completely analytic process after sufficiently considering the characteristics of large antenna structure. In the end, being based upon the improved surrounding trusswork space mesh deployable antenna structure, analyses and calculations are finished for the designed antenna reflector 1/48 FEA model and the results prove that this kind of method is effective and viable.
