With the rapid development and popularizing of Internet, the users require more extensive and more general information and resources sharing. Because of its distributed characteristic and making resources being more fully utilized, Peer-to-Peer technology can be used to improve the file sharing application. However, P2P network is short of centralized control so that the security in P2P network is faced with much challenge.Traditional security technology, such as security protocols, digital certificate, can be used to solve some security problems in P2P. After discussing how PKI and PGP are applied into P2P network in detail, the thesis gives some of their shortcomings, and proposes a solution in which PGP is integrated with PKI.A distributed trust model has been proposed to solve the problems of access control and resources reliability in the P2P file sharing system. It bases on the real-world trust mechanism, and employ quantitative method to evaluate trust degree. A reputation mechanism is built to deal with the lack of information when an entity is to make a trust decision. The subjective logic is used to compute quantitative trust degree, and the recommendation protocol is applied into reputation transferring. On the basis of the research on correlative theories, the total solution to the P2P file sharing system is introduced, including the solution to the security. Specially, the implementation of authentication and trust model is presented in detail. With the implementation of the system, a simulation experiment is built to prove the advantages of the trust model. Future works about the trust model are described in the end.
