Research On General Development Model In B2C E-Business

In 2003, IBM introduced the framework and concept of e-business on demand, which directed the development of e-business. It has many merits and one of those is flexible and variable. However, for B2C e-business, current development model does not fit to create flexible and variable system. That is to say, without redeveloping system, it is not simple, convenient or variable for users to change the function and style of the web pages and the structure of the web site. So this dissertation proposes a general development model in B2C e-business, which is named "anole"."Anole" stands for the design target of the general development model in B2C e-business. The design target is that the web site developed by the general development model should be suited for all varied conditions of B2C e-business and should have capability of changing in runtime. Moreover, it should be easy for users to develop and change the web site. Accordingly, the main contents of research on the general development model in B2C e-business are described as follows:(1) Analyze the necessary parts of classic B2C e-business system, which draws the demarcation of concerned issues in research.(2) Introduce a changeable entity storing and processing model to solve the problem of storing and processing the varied data structure in B2C e-business system. It unifies the storing and processing of varied data structure and achieves the general feature on database level. The basic idea is using XML based on the relational database to describe the property set of varied entity and abstracting the entity to the format of (ID, foreign key set, property set). The changeable entity storing and processing model is the base of storing and processing business data in general development model.(3) Divide the ingredients of B2C e-business system into three categories: resources, multilevel lists and components. It also separates the styles of web page from the contents and separates the rules of navigation among web pages from web page. Thus, it introduces the structure of the general development model. The web application framework, which is the core of the structure of the model, is realized by extending the JSF framework in customized components encapsulating function and in component rendering. Therefore, it achieves the general, variable feature and relaxed coupling among components.(4) Develop the demonstration of the general development model following the structure and web application framework described before and using interrelated technologies. It proofs that the general development model is feasible.Finally, based on a summary of the research results, several questions for further research and exploration are proposed.
