With development of the information technology, the network becomes bigger and bigger. And the counts of the events of the intrusions and attacks on network increasing rapidly. The intrusions and attacks from outer networks often makes data damaged or leaked out, and the misuse from insider brings huge lose on enterprise. The network security is faced with very grave threat by the network intrusion. Lately, the trend of the intrusion events increased very rapidly. The objects of the intrusion actions included most of famous enterprises and some of professional security company. According to the incompletely account of the intrusion action, the issues of network security made economical loss more than several thousands of million dollars per year. To detect and defend and protect network security from intrusions is no time to delay.The intrusion detection initiative collected and analyzed the information from the networks or computer systems, and then it judged whether intrusion actions or evidences. The intrusion detection is new technology. The traditional security technology include firewall, PKI, encrypt data and identify technology, these are static defense technology. As reinforce of traditional security technology and mechanism, the intrusion detection technology enlarged the depth and levels of the networks security and improved the networks security.Distributed intrusion detection system can fit the large networks, and this paper researched application and deploy of the distributed intrusion detection system on the telecommunication data communication network. The paper designed a Distributed intrusion detection system on the telecommunication data communication network.
