Digital watermarking technique is a effective method for copyright protection,which has become a hotspot in multimedia information security research and a core branch of hiding technology research. Wavelets have found wide applications in image processing due to its multiresolution and multiscale analysis property. In addition,the aspect of wavelets is helpful in managing a good distribution or location of the message in the image in terms of robustness versus invisibility.In this paper,the algorithm of digital watermark technology has been analysed in the round. Further research has been made in watermark embedding,model of embedding and inspection,the dual-watermark method aimed at interpretation attack, the fragile method facing image content authentication,and so on. We analyse embedded contents and embedded domains of digital watermarking.What's more.we conclude the method of digital watermark and present the common model of embedding and inspection for this system. Combining the characteristic of spatial field method and frequency field method of digital watermark and aiming at interpretation attack, this paper presents a new method which embeds two watermarks into wavelet transfer field of the image. In order to deal with the problem of defending the tamper of digital media,this paper presents a fragile method facing image content authentication. Some discussions and conclusions are given in the end.
