Data Integration In ERP And E-Commerce Based On XML

ERP and E-Commerce is one of the most important research issues in computer science and technology field. ERP realize the basic criterion and idea for enterprise management by means of quantification using computer technology. After continuous exploring and research, ERP has brought our country a complete feasible solution include theory and technology, which can help information bring along industrialization and promote industry modernization. One view is that E-Commerce is an application based on ERP. That is to say ERP is the supporting system for realizing E-Commerce and they are to be integrated. But on the other hand, E-Commerce and ERP can be look on as applications at the same level with different emphasis. ERP mainly aims at management inside enterprise and E-Commerce concentrates on intercourse outside enterprise.information integration is the foundation of the whole E-Commerce integration. But because each enterprise has different characteristic on management and the information systems used by them are also various, which are result of not only information technologies that accord to different development step but also different standard and technologies. In this article, we bring forward a solution for E-Commerce based on XML after comparing EDI, HTML and XML and bring forward a method to design flexible application according to Schema. We discussed several kinds of technologies for XML storage and query and put forward a method to save and take out XML data in relation databases. We save XML and Schema in databases in term of original tree structure. This method is superior to other method because it gives a uniform standard to save XML data. Then we put our emphasis on how to realize our solution for storing and managing XML data in relation databases according to our storage solution.At the end of the article, combining with the bills of document in the simple E-Commerce model and aiming at the common schema designed by us, we gave out some test data and the running results. Practice has proved out our method can attain our anticipative result. At last we give out some propositions for the existing problems.
