Nowdays, internet and computer has become more and more extensive used, Corporations, governments and other organizations have also depend on computer network system increasingly. Therefore, security problem become more outstanding. Intrusion Detection System has already become essential important means. In order to overcome the existing deficiency of the ID model and ID products , this text has been studied from the respects, such as ID normalization and Neural Network applied in ID.How to cope with the intrusion overflowing day by day has go beyond the ability of any IDS product, so integration must be considered enough while designing new ID model, yet the foundation of integration of the products is normalization. Research indicated that the present design of ID model haven't take into account the normalization enough, which leading to the fact that integration of the models and products are relatively bad. In his text we discuss the research current situations of international normalized authoritative organizations with ID and ID normalization at domestic.It is important how go on and analyse the data effectively and report outcome in this field after collected primitive data. And according this it has formed many kinds of ID methods. Based on the above research, this text has proposed a kind of ID model, Neural Network Intrusion Detection Model .In the model, we have introduced the NN and adopt research achieve of ID normalization. We research the realizations of model, propose an kind of improvements train algorithm. We analysed, design and realized the key part of the model at last, and carried on the relevant experiment.This article is an attempt which we applies NN to ID, we abandons the routine ID model based on behavior and adopt more advanced one, the non-linear work pattern of neural network system of people of simulation. NN can also combine expert system, hereditary algorithm, data mining ,and so on. The NN application in ID has enormous theory and practice meaning.
