Structured light 3-D measuring system adopts the computer vision theory to measure and reconstruct object in order to obtain the 3-D model of object. The system discussed in this thesis is made up of four lasers and four cameras, and every laser has a corresponding camera and both of them construct a subsystem. The whole measuring system consists of four identical sussystems which are symmetrical and fixed in space. If depth images of four subsystems are combined, then the depth image of one whole section of object is obtained and 3-D measuring of this section is also completed. If the object is moved alone beeline in fixed step and direction and the system repeats above operations, the three-dimension measuring of whole object is completed.According to the composition and operation theory of the system, the mathematical models of single subsystem and the whole measurement system are provided. According to the design requirements, the design method of the parameters of the system is provided and the parameters of system are also designed.In order to meet practical measurement requirements, the feed equipment of whole measurement system is designed. According to the mathematical model of single subsystem, the error analyses are provided .In addition, according to the composition and mathematical models of the whole measurement system, the errors of whole system are also provided.This thesis adopts the computer to simulate measurement process of the construct light 3-D measurement system and the display of 3-D measurement result. Using computer may simulate the errors of measurement result when every parameter varies. Through emulate analysis, the effect of error of every parameter on the real measurement value may be confirmed, then the methods and measures of reducing the error of measurement are provided.
