Research Of The Encryption Short Message System Based On Discrete Logarithm Algorithm

The fast development of modern telecommunication technology makes the mobile phone, a kind of convenient tool, to become popular. The mobile telecom service provider focuses the new extensible service on the mobile telecom network now.With the migration of short message service from traditional fields to finance, how to efficiently protect the content of the message, choose encryption strategies and design the Encryption Short Message System are becoming research domains.Now there are some kinds of encryption systems about short message on market. All of them have the characteristic that they use some usual encryption algorithms. But all have the limitation that they aren't optimized for the short message, which would bring the shortcomings in security and efficiency.On this thesis, the research has been taken about the public key encryption and digital signature after our scrutinizing on GSM short message and the SMPP Protocol. Based on the ElGamal encryption algorithm, a public key encryption of short message has been described on this thesis. To proof merits of this algorithm, an experiment has been designed and executed, the results of the experiment have been analyzed. Finally, the thesis gives the design of an encryption short message system based the encryption above.
