Research On Establishing Chinese Network Information Classification

It is one of usual ways to Retrieving network information resource by classification. TO today, however, there are not unanimous criterions and generally recognized dividing results to the classification of network information resources. The vast majority of network information classification systems used in search engines is self-established. For lack of guidance of scientific theory, these classification systems are of low quality. In addition, they are different in the setting, arrangement and definition for connotation and extension of classes which lead to troubles when users need retrieve on a lot of search engines. Establishing Chinese Network Information Classification is the best way to solve these problems.To comprehensively study the establishment of Chinese Network Information Classification, the article first introduces the characteristic of network information resource, network information user and network technological environment, analyzes the basic condition of current network information classification systems, and demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of establishing Chinese Network Information Classification. On the basis of these, the article puts forward the guiding ideology, basic principles and methods of establishing Chinese Network Information Classification, still makes an establishing experiment on first classes of Chinese Network Information Classification.
