Spread-frequency communication is a new kind of techniques one of which is Frequency-hopping(FH). Frequency-hopping, adaptive and high-speed digital communication are called as90's Communication Technique. Because of their powerful anti-interference and multi-address, spread-frequency and FH are used for military and civil purpose more and more frequently. The thesis describes the development of FH radio and FH communication techniques in foreign countries from the tactical view.Modern warfare is of information and electronic. Thus FH communication has become one of principal methods of electronic anti-interference and FH radio set has become real force of army. FH system is communicated by the means 1f random hopping of carrier frequency and avoids interference. The receiver may receive the inform. The anti-interference ability of FH radio ser depends on the design of FH action of the transmitter when the receiver must have the same FH pattern with the transmitter, then synchronization of the FH system becomes important, the thesis has a detailed description about it here, and the thesis combines the synchronization performance of FH system and its anti-interference ability to analyze system design finally. The thesis explores the FH band width, the FH rate, the FH frequency number, the FH pattern, the organization method of network and improvement of reliability of FH communication in the system design. The key in the design of FH system is its synchronization design The thesis has a detailed design about the FH synchronization system and gives realizable and performance-improved synchronization plan of VHF tactical FH radio set and calculates performance index of FH synchronization system.
