Study On The Generation Of The Music By Computer Simulation

With the fast development of computer and electron technology, Computer has influenced every field of our lives. Generation of the music by computer simulation is a noticeable category of computer's application in Art creation, it's a cross subject between Informatics and Art. In this paper, the theory and application of generation of the music by computer simulation was studied. The definition of the music that saved as wave format is time series of music, the whole time series of music was analyzed to build up serials model. The simulation models are used to simulate the time series of music signal. Finally, the method is discussed.In the first part of this paper, the music that defined is firstly analyzed, that is the analysis of basic Stat character and continutum character of the whole segment music serials. Based on the analysis of these eigenvalue, some models were found, including Chord Vibration and Auto Regressive model. Based on these basic models, the method of simulation generation of the whole segment music were discussed.Frequency character is variable from time, so music serials were analyzed in the second part of this paper, Short time Fourier transformationAbstract(STFT) was picked up to found time-varying Auto Regressive model, which can be forecasted and made a new amplitude spectrum, on the basis of signal reconstruction theory and itetative serial extrapolation, the forcasted amplitude spectrum is used to reverte the signal, and the simulation is obtained.According to the methods mentioned above, the result can be found after music was simulated and analyzed, but this method is the same with relatively simple music, complicated music need n method of short time analysis to simulate.This study provide feasible method of music simulation generation and some pressing basic theories and experiment results for the further study of Generation of the Music by Computer Simulation and compose.
