The Research And Application On The Use-Case Driven Approach

With the accelerating of the industrialization and the coming of the post industrialization, the information technology is becoming more and more important in the society. The key to improving the software development efficiency is to adopt a high efficient software development method. The traditional structure analysis method is showing its own limitation that it can't overcome more and more apparently. The object-oriented technology is becoming more and more popular and is adopted by more and more people.Being brought forward in 1980s, the object-oriented method develop very fast. Many object-oriented methods come out, such as OMT OOD RDD OOAD OOSE. But these methods can't solve the great problem in the requiring engineer effectively. The new method, Use-Case Driven Approach, which was invented by Ivar Jacobson, shows great vitality. There are two schools about this approach. One's representative is Ivar Jacobson, the other's is Alistair Cockburn. Though the Use-Case Driven Approach is already used in the industry, there are still many problems on the requirement acquirement and the method per se such as the inconvenience of the requirement acquirement the omitting of the requirement acquirement and some disadvantages of the method per se.One the basis of the former research, this paper does some research work aiming at the requirement acquirement the Use-Case Appproach and the problems in its application.First, we analyze the problems in the software requirement engineering in profundity from the philosophy angle in this paper so that we find the theory supporting point for the interest model in the requirement analysis. Then we make some improvement on the use-case driven approach: a new method, pole-to-middle method, is brought forward for managing to the contract ofthe use case; a new use case drawing model, SIRGAV(Stakeholder Interest Resposibility Goal Action Validation), is putted forward; a new thinking method for finding stakeholders is described and a new use case organization method is also brought forward. The new improved use case technology is validated in the RTMS software development process. The RTMS has already been used in the intranet of the Haier Group, managing the lab in QingDao HuangDao PingDu DaLian and GuiZhou, and create great economic profit for the Haier Company.
