Data Mining is a superior area in the information and database technology, and is commonly considered as one of the key technology with wild developing perspective. Data Mining relates to statistic, ANN, AI etc, so it is difficult to realize.Clustering analysis is one of the main functions of Data Mining. It includes k-means Algorithm, ANN Algorithm, etc. K-means is one of the popular algorithms.ANN is produced based on modern neural science research. It is an abstract, simply and simulation of human brain. In recent years, Data Mining based on ANN is becoming more popular and more. It was used in analyzing and modeling of market database. The SOM Algorithm has outstanding advantages in clustering analysis.This paper studied the concept, function, processing and realization of Data Mining. As the same time, it studied the data pretreatment, k-means and SOM Algorithm.Being an important part of advanced enterprise management mode, the human resources is attached importance to each area. Facing the huge data, human resources management needs a technology to discover the valuable knowledge, making out the human developing stratagem and providing a support for decision. This paper based on the human resources data of two colleges in Tianjin, applied the SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services and the SOM algorithm to have clustering analysis, and realized information visualization. Finally it discovered some valuable knowledge.
