The Research Of The Agent-based Software Testing System Model

Today, scale of software systems begins larger and larger. Software Testing has been the key phase of software engineering. In the process of development, testing should be conducted in every part. However, during the software development process, most programmers analyze and test programs manually. Therefore, many kinds of auto-testing tools have been made to help testers. But some of the tools generated to satisfy testing cases are infeasible. Those infeasible cases not take up a lot of resources, but also make the tool unpractical. For feasible testing cases, we make some research in this problem.From the last century, the topic about Agent and Multiple Agent System has been more and more important in the research field of Artificial Intelligent (AI). It is a new direction of AI and has been applied in many aspects of Information Technology.In the procedure of software testing, it is very important that we should use less time and effort to find more faults. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a Agent-based Software Testing System Model (ASTSM), which is a system that can help tester to get more AI support. At the same time, we use the theory and technology of Agent to the software testing procedure.
