Mutual Drawing System Of Mechanical Graphics (MCAD)

According to the needs of Computer-Aided Instruction and the characteristics of mechanical teaching in universities, a mutual drawing system of mechanical graphics (MCAD) is developed. This system will improve the practicability of computer in Computer-Aided Instruction fully.Used the knowledge relate to Computer Graphics, the mutual drawing system of mechanical graphics is developed on the Microsoft's production-Visual C++6.0 under Windows. The main works of this paper are as follows...1. The development of the drawing library of mechanical graphicsIn this system, the common mechanical graphics are classified by several graphic libraries. These libraries are basic graphics, component, force, constraint and combined body etc. The mutual drawing system of mechanical graphics construct the graphic libraries by the object-oriented mechanism. Employing object-oriented method and using Visual C++ 6.0 programming tools, a basic drawing class-CDraw is created, then inheriting other special drawing classes, such as beam class, frame class, load class etc. So, the special drawing library of mechanical graphics is embodied in this system.2. The development of drawing functionThe mutual drawing system of mechanical graphics include some functions of graphic editing, graphic operating, graphic storing and assistant etc. The drawing parameters , such as pen. linetype, linewide. the step of grid, the color of background can be changed freely during drawing . The above factors form a mutual drawing system with rich interface and practicable function .3. The development of communicating with other softwaresThe mutual drawing system of mechanical graphics can store it's files in Word. Excel. PowerPoint by BMP format.
