Research & Implementation Of Procedure Control Software Developing Plature Based On Middleware

At present, middleware has been a mainstream technology implementing software reusing and a crucial issue in Computer Science. It supports standard protocol, distributed computing, and provides for application and service alternation with transparency of spanning network, hardware and OS so widely that it has greatly impacted on all kinds of software developing patterns.Procedure Control Software Developing Plature is a type of middleware product of Shanghai BaoSight Company. Based on this project, we do lots of research and practice.In this paper, we gave the concept, character, class of middleware. According to the middleware oriented message, called SMQ, we analysized the implement principle, design approach and application of it. We introduced the design and implement of VisualFrame.Net subsystem, Process Scheduling subsystem and Report subsystem through the developed product. We also addressed the key technology including XML, MVC, middleware and several design patterns and the importance of MOM during development.From the design object of this project, we expound the design principle, system structure. And based on the research direction and practice of author, we summarized some levels of software reusing technology and their significance, such as source code level, DLL level, component level, design pattern level and framework level and so on.Although Plature supports a lot of OS including Windows, Unix, OpenVMS and shortens obviously the second developing cycle, its generality is a bit poor without considering the configurability and flexibility of SMQ. Based on the difficulties during developing, we also summarized the problems of our design and purpose the development direction of further research in the future .
