VPN Research And Realization

Network security is taken into account by more and more people, and VPN is one of the important realizations to this problem. This dissertation focuses on how to realize VPN gateway .As a new-generation security technology, VPN (Virtual Private Networks) is easy to use, low in cost,and can provide secure and reliable Internet accesses, create private network connections over public networks. The key element for VPN is to secure communications, and IPSec (IP Security) is a core technology that provides this protection. Following is the main result of this thesis:1 Introduce the VPN technology background, elements and applications of the IPSec Protocol.2 Introduce the system of key exchange, design and implement the main frame of this system, analyze and discuss its security.3 Analyze and implement X.509 certificate for this VPN solutions.4 Put forward a solution for current transparency of VPN gateway according to ARP protocol.
