With the development of mobile communication technology, a new mobile operation, MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) has become more and more popular. MMS Support many media such as image, audio, video, etc. It brings new experience to the user. But at the same time, MMS brings some new problems that we have to solve, such as information filtering, information content analyzing, information classification etc. The upper problems relate to two fields: Multimedia Message and image content analyze, which respectively stands for the foreland of mobile communication technology and image processing.In order to solve the problems, we developed a wireless network Multimedia Message detecting system. This paper is about the technology that we used.First, we researched the MMS system's architecture and basic principles, and we set up the MMS system's emulation environment. In the emulation environment, we developed anfiltering system-MMMC, which filter and classify Multimedia Messages. This paperexpands the function and framework of our system. Second, we researched the technology of image classification. In the basis of present technology, we provide our method. With our method, we first extract several low visual feature of the image, such as color, texture etc, and then we fuze the feature into a high dimensional vector; sencond, we analyze the vector with PCA method, which reduce the dimension of the vector; and last we use the vector to classify the image.The main work of this paper is listed as following: Through the collection, read and analysis of the documents and papers around mobile communication technology, I proposed a feasible method and then I set up a simulation environment of MMS system. Through research and discussion, I provide an automatic image classification method, which fuze several visual feature and gets good results. In the basis of upper research, I developped a system, which named Multimedia Message detecting system. In our experiment, the system behaved good performance. I developed a color image classifier. In our experiment, the classifier behaved high performance.
