Direct sequence spread spectrum is an important communication anti-jamming technology, which is employed extensively in military communication. Its ability of anti-jamming is limited by system gain. To improve the anti-jamming ability of DS/SS system, we introduce the concept of interference excision. Through excising energy of narrow-band interference, we can enhance the ability of system. The interferences mainly include single tone, multi tone and narrow-band interferences.In the paper, we introduce the basic concept and important parameters at first and propose the concept of interference excision . Then we discuss the function and principle of interference excision module. Because the interference excision technology is a digital signals processing technology, the design of algorithm is very important for its performance. In the paper , we propose two methods of interference excision: Fraction Zeroize and Fraction Clip. And we simulate the algorithms, prove the validity of them. At last, we summarize all the working, and point out what we must do in the future.
