Evaluation And Realization Of Data Quality Of Data Warehouse

Data warehouse is the data foundation and an important instrument of the system for decision-making. In Recent years, it is developed rapidly and used to transport, manufacturing, retailing, finance, telecom and etc, showed it's vigorous force and strong life. Data quality of data warehouse is an important concept and it's the base of good decision-making .So data quality is where the shoe pinches of data warehouse build and run successfully.Firstly, this paper review the former documents of data quality and refer that class quality measure standard by quality dimension to appease the need for different users and build an administrative level system of data quality measure.Secondly, considering the time characteristic of data warehouse, add theory of data evolument, refer the concept of quality factor and optimize the system of quality measure.Thirdly, the paper ameliorate the structure of an extend meta-data database in former data warehouse's architecture which incorporate data quality factors. And a way of improving data quality are raised which satisfy the different roles of data warehouse to support DSS efficiently. The highlight in this paper describes a mechanism which is used to develop data quality in the architecture. And the mechanism include cluster and transfer agent. Base on the data source and requirement of data quality, a hierarchy is formed. During the forming of clusters, transfer agents are necessary.Lastly, this paper apply the data quality method to the system of information industry, realize quality measurement for it's data and build quality-drive data warehouse, improve the efficiency of data query and use.
