This paper deals with Turbo-codes in a fairly wide scope. It presents some schemes of constructing good codes based on simulation on computer. The whole paper can be divided into four parts:In the first part we mainly deal with the introduction of the TD-SCDMA system that the 3rd generation mobile telecommunication standard which is submitted by China.In the second part we mainly deal with the basic principle of Turbo-codes, and analyze the construction principle and why they can achieve such a good performance from a system view.In the third part we mainly deal with the construction of Turbo-codes. Firstly, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the random and nonrandom interleaver respectively, and bring forward the method of constructing a semi-random interleaver. Then we deal with the decoding of Turbo-codes, and compare the performance of several usual decoding methods. In addition, we give the performances of Log-MAP and SOVA are simulated. Then, Turbo codes'performances with different decoding logarithm is compared.In the fourth part we mainly deal with the channel construction of the TD-SCDMA system, and discuss the advantage of choosing Turbo-cods as high quality professional work transmission coding program.
