RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) should make maintenance plan based on the result of reliability evaluating and the request of keeping equipment function, which well avoid insufficient maintenance or excess maintenance. The methodology can not only decrease the maintenance cost but also increase the equipment's availability and reliability. The work of status evaluating for quantity and computer assisted management are propitious to RCM popularizing.The methodology of integrating FMEA and FTA can acquire equipment information and expert knowledge. Through variable weight about the sizing, equipments status is available. Subsequently, the status worsening reason can be detected though fault tree, and which can supply solving project also. At last, a computer program is built to implement those functions.
