In recent years, Distributed Object Computing Middleware based on CORBA have been developed and popularized in the world rapidly. Up to now, CORBA Specification has developed to Version3.0. With introduction of the new technology , every step of the development was the extension of the former version. The tradition CORBA before Version3.0 has the deficiency of self, just as the lacking of standard way of deploying the object implementation. CORBA Component Model(CCM) was issued as a part of CORBA Specification Version3.0 for the frist time, which was server-side component model. As an important part of CCM architecture, CCM Container provides the run-time environment for the components on the Server-side, integrating CORBA Service and life-cycle management. To the service-unaware application, however, the container does not provide methods to deal with the service requirement decribed in deployment Descriptor. So, the thesis introduces the CORBA Portable Interceptor to CCM Container. With interceptors, those service requirement during the deployment can be disposed properly. The thesis brings forward a kind of Container Implementation Model which introduces the Portable Interceptor, then analyzes the necessitate of introducing of Portable Interceptor; in the follow, the thesis analyzes the intercept flow of IORs and requests. Aiming at the Sercurity Service, the thesis simply implements the IORInterceptor and ServerRequestlnterceptor in Container. Meanwhile, the thesis put forwards interceptor-based Load Balacing Container Model, and gives the design intention of the Load Balancing Interceptor. In the end, the thesis analyzes and evaluates the performance of Portable Interceptor in CCM Container from the view of the system running efficiency and software engineering.
