The Optimization Software of Antenna Structure based on VisualizationTechnology is an important module of the Synthetical Design Platform of AntennaStructure. The paper aims at offering high-efficient and reliable optimizationalgorithms and practical procedures which are based on corresponding algorithm forthe Optimization Software of Antenna Structure based on Visualization Technology.Thus it is necessary to programme optimization algorithms and correspondingprocedures.The interfaces among ptimization procedures,ANSYS softwarevisualization of optimization modeling and running course need be set up. In the paper, two optimization procedures on structure optimization of antenna aredesigned. One is based on Genetic Algorithm(GA). GA adopt floating-point coding,roulette wheel selection, one-point crossover and uniform mutation. The advantage ofgenetic algorithm lies in generality and robustness. Genetic algorithm searches answersin several areas of solution space and can jump out of the optimum point on local spaceat a higher probability, the optimum point on global space can be found. The other isbased on Method of Feasible Directions. Although the procedure is intended primarilyfor efficient solution of constrained problems, unconstrained function minimizationproblems may also be solved, and the conjugate direction method of Fletcher andReeves is used for this purpose. Although two procedures aim at structure optimization of antenna,they can alsobe applied to optimization of other project structures. As a result, simulation results ofseveral typical examples are given to demonstrate high effectiveness of the proposedalgorithms and corresponding procedures based on visulization technology. Its projectpracticability is fully considered on the process of programming on the OptimizationSoftware of Antenna Structure based on Visulization Technology.
