With the development of information technology,the economical and social value of information resource is more and more important.In order for decision support,it is the hard work that valuable information and knowledge is discovered from numerous data.We need discovery the interesting information from the data warehouse.The knowledge is useful,but it cannot be been predict.With the appearance of Data Mining ,the people realize the real value of the data,which mean the information hide behind data.Data Mining is one of the international advanced directions in the field of database and information decision nowadays.Because of its wide application background and realistic significance, the technique and application of data mining advance rapidly and draw upon the attention of the international academic circle.First,this paper comments data mining,explains what is data mining,why and how to do it,the main process of data mining and so on.Second,an important algorithm――Genetic Algorithm is introduced.Genetic Algorithm (GA) is a searching method using probability, which is to simulate the biology evolution.GA do not require the solution space to be continuous and derivable.Its few limitation on the presumption of the solution space and built-in parallelism make it a useful method in many area. GA often is used to solve data mining problem.This paper mainly apply GA to solve feature selection and present correlation-base GA.Associated with credit card analysis system,this paper gives algorithm and program of predictive data mining,which indicate good predictive ability....
