The Platform Study Of Geographic Information System Based COM

In this paper,the related technologies of developing GIS platform are studied and a kind of COM GIS platform structure is given.The constitution, function and standardization of GIS are first introduced in this paper,then the advantage and the realistic significance of COM GIS are analysed. On the base of analysing the limitation of the special existing tools,it is proposed to establish a GIS platform, which is new.with self copyright, integrated and based COM.The mature computer and information-processing technologies of modern times, such as Object-Oriented technology and COM technology, are made full use of in this paper,and the key technologies on how to realize the system are discussed. The basic function and the partion of GIS are studied, and then it is brought forward on how to construct the OO class of GIS, and the importance and the rationality of adopting the COM criterion are also analysed. The common spatial data structure and its storage are introduced, and a method on how to organising the spatial data is put forward. Then the join query of spatial data is studied, and a betterment arithmetic of how to get the m_near neighbours of a spatial object is given.Above all of these, the design steps and the structure of GIS software platform are brought forward,and the software structure of its data management groupware and SDSS groupware are given.In this paper, how to develop the software platform of COM GIS,which has self copyright and integrates the new computer technologies,is studied.COM GIS will bring great influence of GIS technology system and GIS application pattern,and a new method on how to resolve the problems of traditional GIS is given.
