With metal plasticity forming technology developing, the technology of computersimulation has become to rebuilding traditional plasticity forming process, powerfultool of enhancing capability of mould design and key technology. In the process of metal plasticity forming, due to irrationality of processtechnology and mould design, it lead to external and interior failures on the product.The failures must induce mould to amend time amd time,even lead to the mould's discarding as useless. Knowing in advance metal flowing process in the forming process,forecasting the critical condition of failure producing and adopting some measures tooptimize process project and process parameter, may avert failure and satisfy the purpose of assuring product quality and enhencing economical benefit. The field of sheet forming analysis is an attractive one because of the enormousimportance of the subject to the economies of industrialized countries.This articleadopts the finite element numerical simulation soft--DYNAFORM, according to elasticity- plasticity finite element's basic theory and managing method,andcombining the engineering application,directing against two-bend forming characterisic of architectural fastener, establish three kind of process projects. And simulate and optimize them,gains optimization once forming process project. Using Uni graphi cs to build three dimension mnodel of mould, using Dynaform to build elasticity-plasticity finite element model of mould and to simulate, compute and analyse them. At the same time, using simulation results of Dynaform to analyse stress and strain distributing of metal in the forming process, and gains curves of forming load in the different cases. Simulates and analyses possible producing failures such as blank incrassating,blank thinning, bending crinkling and forming spring in the forming process, and puts forward resolving projecet of eliminating forming failure and reasonable process parameter. The paper still using the combining of Unigraphics and Dynaform to simulate and reversely seek sketchy size of part, and to gain reasonable sketchy size of part and size of mould. By experiment validating, gains conclusions that theory analyses ,simulation anayses are consistent with experiment validating and satisfying results.The results of probing into and investigating in the paper, provide reference for theforming process, failure, reversely seeking sketchy size of part and so on.
