Research On The Application Of Neural Network In Data Mining

In the last ten years, the ability of people utilizing information technology to produce and collect data has improved speedy. At the same time, great database is applied in many industries abroad, and the tendency will keep on. So a new challenge was raised : how to face the problem of excessive information in the so-called era of information exploding.Data Mining is just an advanced processing procedure of extracting some patterns which are believable, novel, valid and can be understanded easily from mass data.In the paper, the application of neural networks in data preprocessing of a stock forecast data mining project is discussed. Neural networks are important methods in data mining. Although a neural network may have complex structure, long training time, and uneasily understandable representation of results, neural networks have high accuracy and are preferable in data mining.Meanwhile, the paper discusses the problem of data visualization, and resolves it using neural network technique, describes the whole process of building a neural network data mining system. The experimental result shows that the method is practical.
