Research Of The Elements Of The Information Linear Communication Model In Library

Started with the linear communication model of the media studies, we try to link the model with the library's information dissemination with a view to analyzing the characteristics of five elements and the their applications in different environments. Through the comparative studies, the thesis attempt to find out the similarities and dis- similarities of both sides.Firstly, the information disseminator and the social functions, which the library performs, were explained.Secondly, the definitions of Information and the characteristics of library information resources were discussed.Thirdly, the comparison between traditional paper carrier and the digital network carrier was probed.Fourthly, the new changes of the information users under the web environment were explored.Finally, the factors, which affect the communication effects, were analyzed.
