The Communication Between A-VX And Windows

With the rapid development of the computer, the Intel chips and the Windows Operating System is share of the chips and OS market. And it is widely noticed by the large manufacturers. The tendency makes manufacturers develop theirs products to compatible with Intel chips and Windows OS. It is very important to extend theirs activities into opening system. In the last twenty years, the development of opening system enters the Internet period with the spread of the Internet. When the independent system is constructed on Windows OS, the problems come out one by one. Such as the conversion of assembler and coding, Memory Management, Job Management, the communication between two systems.The author takes part in the research and implementation of the reconstruct of A-VX Operating System. The A-VX operating System used to be independent system. It has IDP assembler, Job Management modular, Memory Management modular, File management modular, Process Management modular etc. Now the A-VX OS has become a system which is compatible with Windows OS. The A-VX OS keeps the previous merits and can run the old applications without any modification. And it offers a friendly user interfaces.The author makes the wide study of the A-VX OS, and emphasizes on a modular by the name of OpenBase which is used to communication between A-VX and Windows. The author takes part in the design and implement of AccessComponent. OpenBase supports the access of A-VX and Windows from each other. The communication method of Windows modular is Namedpipe, and the method between A-VX and Windows is memory sharing. The AccessComponent is used to access A-VX applications from Web application. The AccessComponent is one of example application in using OpenBase interface.Though the software has been released and it is a convenient software for the users who want to access applications between A-VX and Windows, it is not enough. In the end of the paper, the author studies the fault of the system and presents the method to improve it.
