Study Of Fiber Bragg Gratings Vibration Sensing Technology

With the development of technology in the aviation, aeronautics and oceanics, more and more complex dynamics problems come forth, it is exigent to improve the vibration testing technology and analysis technology to assure the project safety and economy rationalization, so researching and developing a new type vibration sensing technology has very important status and meaning.The paper brings forward new fiber optic Bragg vibration sensing technology and develops the research on the fiber optic Bragg dynamic test . Considering the need for practical engineering, new fiber optic Bragg vibration sensor is studied and developed.1.Based on the theory of fiber optic Bragg and the design way of vibration sensor, the design factors are assured by theory analyzed and repetitious experiments, then the common method to design the fiber optic Bragg vibration sensor is put forward and validated by using finite element method.2.Based on the common method to design the fiber optic Bragg vibration sensor, the character factors of vibration sensor is analyzed and solved, then the new type fiber optic Bragg vibration sensor is designed, the new sensors are of higher sensitivity, less transverse response and less temperature excursion.3.The new idea is put forward, which is that by using demodulation fiber optic Bragg to compensate temperature and using two fiber optic Bragg to improve sensor's sensitivity, the way is suitable to apply in the acceleration.4.Based on design idea of the new fiber optic Bragg vibration sensor, we study the fiber optic Bragg geophone and accelerometer applied in the large engineer structure health inspecting by many experiments. The sensors have wide application prospect.The paper will contribute to the foundation of the research on the fiberoptic Bragg dynamic testing technology.
