Research And Development Of CAD System For Tower Structures

Tower structure is widely used in the power transmission, and the project of radio communication and radio broadcast Tower structure has abundance kinds, the development of the CAD system for Tower structure, not only gets the attention of the large scale software developer, but also has better market prospect.According to the plan of PKPM, the task of this thesis is in order to provide a convenient, quick and veracious modeling system. It makes the Tower CAD system easier to be understood , reused and maintained by the method of object-oriented designing.This paper discusses the search and development of the CAD system for Tower structure on PC. As a indispensable part of CAD system, the motive of the pre-process function is to provide a flexible, straightforward and efficient tool for designer, and to meet the need of the creation, inputting, processing and correcting of data in design for project. The development of the CAD system for Tower structure is based on CFG graphic flat of the PKPM.The paper details on the pre-process problem of the CAD system for Tower Structure, and the method of using mixed-language programming with Visual C++ and Visual Fortran in Windows environment. In accordance with the modern idea of object-oriented design, this paper states the software designing method of object-oriented and the characteristics of developing environment for software. According to the general plant of PKPM, the development of the pre-process part of CAD system for Tower Structure has been done with object-oriented program language C++ in CFG graphic supporting system. The CAD system is composed of the model-processed work of six kinds of TowerBody structure, four kinds of TowerBoard, cupulate TowerHead and extensive TowerHead. The programme is verified by examples. It indicates that the programme provide convenience in modeling, and the calculating result is credible.
