The Design Of Webmail System Based On Linux

With the rapid developing ad popularizing of network, E-mail has been becoming a necessary part of daily life for communication. It is important to make it more conveniently for mail user and manager of mail system Many people are concerned about it..Based on the examining and analyzing of the developing, design and working process of existing e-mail system, this thesis presents the improving work of webmail on the base of embedded Linux.To combine the qmail program with the minisql database by modifying the resource of qmail, the dummy regions and the mail-users can be managed in the database.Modifying the resource of the structure of qmail, a scheme of two levels filtration to control preparatory garbage-mails was designed. The garbage-mails are controlled preparatory by this means.The web services supported by PHP and apache make the operations easier and safer for the managers and the mail-users.The capabilities of whole system were analyzed simply and some suggestions for the mail system are put forward in the last of the paper.
