Pneumatic digital servo technology is the developing production of pneumatic and digital technology; it delegates the highest level of pneumatic technology. With the development of pneumatic servo technology, the positioning mode of pneumatic robot has developed from the two-points simple mode to the multi-points now, and it will become the intelligent robot with sense system. The article has analyzed the development trend of pneumatic technology in the native and foreign nation, and under the condition of the lab we have designed a four freedoms pneumatic robot with visual system based on the technology. It's positioning precision is ±0.1mm,and it can identify the shape of work piece, realize the assembly task automatically. The paper has compared the performance of the newest pneumatic servo control system SPC100,SPC200 made by Festo, and putted forward an improved method, simplified the debugging process by programming. Finally it can get a high positioning precision. We have established an exact mathematics model, and analyzed the adjustable parameters of pneumatic servo system theoretically, at the same time, we have putted forward a special programmable structure and method, and provided theoretic gist for the development of pneumatic digital servo robot.
