Scheduling algorithms is the classical and still developing one of important branches of computer science. With the progress of network, computer science and embedded system, there grows great deal of demand of embedded devices. Now there are two methods to develop embedded system: using Assemble language to build from basement of hardware and using real-time OS, but those methods have some disadvantages in practice. So it' s important for national developer to own independent real-time kernel in embedded system.The real-time is the important one of characters of embedded system and task' s scheduling algorithm will affect it directly. In the embedded system, to realize classical scheduling algorithm brings up some practice questions. So it must be solved imminently that to need the real-time demand of the system under the limited ability of CPU manage and the limited memory space.In this project that comes from Shanghai Inventec Inc we investigate the multi-task scheduling algorithm mostly. And for the policy and technique of some in common use and classical algorithms, we study that emphatically. At the same time we got the improved methods.In the paper we study and use the embedded OS 棪藽/OS-II. By developing system under it we get some ideas of software design of scheduling and real-time handle in the kernel and summarize the steps of real-time kernel develop. According to its low power and others excellent performance we choice MSP430s as system main chip and port μ C/OS-II to it. Furthermore we patch up some scheduling deficiencies and optimize the capability in the system. Through both software and hardware test the designed system satisfy the need of use and commence absolutely. At last we give an example of wireless auto meter-describe system that we designed by ourselves and show the structure, principle and communication protocol of system.
