Study On The Networked Control System And Its Application

Being the extension of computer network in the field of control and the advanced development of computer control system, the networked control system (NCS) has a broad engineering application.In this thesis, three main types of NCS are studied: the distributed control system, the fieldbus control system and the industrial Ethernet. The realization of a networked small-scaled DCS is proposed. Several issues are discussed that may influence the performance of NCS, including the network-induced delay, dropping network packets and sampling period, etc. Solutions are given based on the research work and the references.
