Abstract/Summary:
With the fast growing of computer technique, communication technique and microelectronictechnique, a revolution is led in the industrial control. The technology of real time embedded system, based on the high-end MCU of 32bits, can play different roles in industrial control depending on the need. Therefore, the whole control system can be more real-time, more secure and effective maintenance.This paper wants to take all the advantage of embedded system which is related to the high-end MCU of 32bits to reconstruct the main control board of DCS. The purpose is to make the main control board more powerful in data processing, easy to access the network and can be controled in remote place via Internet.Firstly, 'ARMV, the most popular embedded MCU (KS32C50100 from Samsung) is introduced. Its great compute abilitity can lead the main control board to a new level. As the same time, a real time operating system(RTOS) 'Nucleus' which runs in the ARM7 is describled in detail.Secondly, two approaches is presented in this paper to let the main control board connect to the Ethernet.After that ,from the application perspect I analyse a new method to control the board from remote place via Internet which is based on the embedded WEB server, and I will exhaustively describe how to port a free soure embedded WEB server which is called 'GoAhead' to the Nucleus Plus. At the end, the key issue and the foreground of the embedded technology and WEB server are discussed.
