| Huang fu Shi was a famous essayist of Tong Dynasty following Han Yu. He was a leader and main member of the Ancient Essay Campaign. His renown was higher than li'ao and Zhang ji. He was eminent in Chinese literature history. However, predecessors' comments are various and vague concerning about Huangfu Shi's Collection at Essay and their spreading after Song Dynasty. So this paper is to study the edition source of the collection of Huang fu Shi's Essays. discuss its topic and discriminate its errors by Comparing about 20 kinds of editions of Song, Ming and Qing Dynasty through investigating the references including the division of Chapters, quantity of essays, alteration of arranging order preface of inscription, sign of preservation discrimination of seal, resorting to works of bibliography, so as to ascertain the source of collections and their handing down relationships.
