Life Cycle Cost Analysis is the effective way which LCC theory is used to resolve each kind of technical decision problem in the whole life of equipment. Two points are emphasized here : One is that the life cycle cost of the whole life of equipment is estimated not only on the purchase fee. The other is that balance is done among many prepare-selected schemes and the minimum of LCC is as the standard of evaluation . If the profit or efficiency of each prepare-selected scheme is unequal, then compare the value of ratio of profit and cost.Base on above-mentioned theory, 'Decision supported system of port machinery life cycle cost analysis' was researched to realize computer assistant management to port machinery and equipment, which lighten the work intension for decision-makers of enterprise's equipment management, improves work efficiency and reduce production cost, at the same time achieves modernization of port machinery and equipment management.Main contents of this subject include three items such below: 1. By finding one typical kind of handling machine for bulk and general cargo in Port of Tianjin as research object, and by collecting , gathering and analyzing the data and historical records , it builds corresponding analysis structure of LCC and searches for inner regulars of each LCC. Two researching aspects are emphasized hereafter:1) On the aspect of economy analysis of equipment selection: it stresses on researching the analysis structure of life cycle cost of port equipment, and it uses Statistic Analysis , Liner Regression and Gray Predict etc. on site data and then set up cost model for each part.2) On the aspect of the decision of optimal time for equipment renewal and rejection, it pre-calculates the optimal rejection time of typical machine by analysis of existed cost of quipment and based-built cost model and by the method of life cycle cost analysis.2. On the basis of deep research, it builds mathematics model of life cyclecost estimation on researched objects.3. Based on researched objects, it develops decision supported system forevaluation of life cycle cost analysis of port machinery , which providesquantizing data and supervision for decision of port equipment management.
