Research And Practice On Switched Reluctance Drive Based-DSP Control

This article primarily introduces the structure of Switched Reluctance Drive (SRD) system and its development of native and international. The characteristic of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) and its electro-magnetics principle are described in details. At the same time the article expounds the development, characteristic and application of digital signal processor (DSP). It analyzes a few requests about interface circuit of DSP and SRM control. The control method is introduced and the hardware of the controller is designed. The controller uses the TMS320LF2407 of TI company as the main control unit and produces the on and off and PWM signal of each phase controlling the IGBT on and off. The control software is programmed. The modular program can make the program universal and readable. Finally according to debugging of hardware circuit, control of Switched Reluctance drive based on DSP is attempted. It provides some references about the development of digital circuit applying in SRD.
