Aiming at the actuality that automation technology is exactly need in aquaculture industry of our country, a kind of multi-parameter water survey instrument is designed in this dissertation to fit the needs of our country's aquaculture industry, which can continuously on line measure five water parameters: water temperature, water depth, acidity/alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, salinity; several such instruments as sub-equipment can be joined by RS485 BUS, which compose a local area network with a sup-equipment(industrial control computer), realizing multi-collecting and simultaneity inspecting.Applying automation technology to aquaculture industry has grand significance of theory and practice, and due to the situation of our country that we have dropped far behind developed countries in this filed, and we have large population, the burden of fishery manufacture is more heavy, so making great efforts to improve the automation level in fishery manufacture is becoming the most urgent situation, and in the end of the first chapter the development orientation of aquiculture automation is indicated.The second and third chapter introduce the design of hardware and software of the multi-parameter water survey instrument, and non-electric signals to be measured are collected respectively by temperature sensor, press sensor, PH electrode, dissolved oxygen sensor, conductivity sensor. There has expatiation on the principle of these five sensors in this part, and emphasize on the signal modulation circuit, and then the MCU, A/D, communication circuit are introduced. So this water survey instrument can collect simulation data, and convert them to numeral, and then communicate with a computer.To buildup a more integrated measure system, application applied to industrial control computer is introduced in the fourth part. In initial stages of debugging, controlling software of Advantech is applied, which has extensive application in control area, but, to satisfy practical require, a software system which has flexible HMI and integrated function is designed.At last, the experiment on the spot can prove the fact that the system runs safety and stably, the precision of the data measured is accordant to aquaculture industry.
