Mining association rules is an important part in data mining. Based on the difference of data mining scope, there are inter-transactional and intra-transactional association rules. At the same time, because of the difference of data type, there are quantitative and logic association rules. The combination of these two types of association rules are discussed after simply set forth them. The problem of mining inter-transactional quantitative association rules is brought forward and defined. Based on the fuzzy set concepts and related data mining algorithms, E-QA algorithm is brought forward. Experiments with part Chinese stock exchange datum between 1997 and 2003 are made to verify the performance of the algorithm. The research of this problem will provide better support than traditional association rules and it is a trial and exploration in data mining area. At the end of the article, some problems of the algorithm are proposed and some possible ways to solve them are brought forward.
